Turunç Diary - November 2013

Well that's another season over and the car park is now a boat yard again.

Musti Restaurant held an end of season Halloween party which was well attended. The Turkish bath in My Meric hotel has been removed ready for the rumoured new supermarket, yes that's right, BIM.

... just what the village needs - another all-inclusive hotel!

Groundwork has started on the new Turunç Hotel.  The photographs show the view down towards the beach.

Other than that, November has been very quiet.  Oh yes, we've had a drop of rain!   Two days of heavy thunder, lightning and downpours, a day of peace and then it all started up again, this time with gale force winds.   Hail stones damaged any car that wasn't under cover and some of us were without water for 12 hours as the canal burst at the back of the village.

As you can see from the photos Marmaris suffered quite badly as well.

Thanks to all photographers whose photos I have used here.
