The village is located to the east of the Bozburun peninsula, lying literally at the end of the mountain road. The captivating beauty of the Aegean stretches for miles in the east while the other three sides are surrounded by high and steep mountains, giving stunning views to the sea .In addition to natural beauty, the world famous beach with crystal clear sea water and wonderfully slow paced rhythm accompanied by rural lifestyle make Turunç a great destination for regenerating vacation. Transportation is provided by minibuses to İçmeler and Marmaris on a regular basis as well as by boats from the sea.

It is a thrill to watch the moon rising out of the Mediterranean on a full moon day and discover the brightness of crowded stars on a moonless late night, when the light pollution is absent.
The sand and shingle beach of Turunç is the proud holder of the Blue Flag, an annual award given to cleanest sea water and beaches. Tightly controlled criteria are determined by ''European Environment and Education Foundation-FREE'' based in Copenhagen. It is an international and powerful tool in achieving excellence in swimming water quality, beach management, hygiene and life safety.
As mentioned earlier, our hotel operates on a bed and breakfast basis. Discounts are available for the hotel guests at the Sürmen Restaurant located in our front garden, adjacent to the beach. The restaurant is run by Mehmet and İsa - brothers with nearly fifty years in business - and offers traditional Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine including a great variety of starters, charcoal grills, seasonal vegetables and fruits.
Turunç offers a selection of places to eat and drink from family run cafes to more refined restaurants and bars. Most of them are gathered around the main street and along the beach. A small selection of shops are located in the main street (which is pedestrianized each evening).

Please note that we do not take bookings of less than 3 nights in peak season (from July 7 to August 25) and 2 nights in high season (June and September). Most of the rooms offer a gorgeous sea view and some are with a side sea view and mountain and main street view.
